The location was amazing, right on the beach with beautiful views. We loved the fact that we could take just a few steps from our bungalow and be swimming in the clear waters. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, there were plenty of hammocks and sunbeds available for relaxation.

Our bungalow was not able to keep out the wildlife outside, as we encountered geckos, mosquitos, and even a mouse during our stay. The showers did not have warm water and the shower head was in poor condition.

Located on a beautiful bay with easy access to other dining options and attractions. Friendly and helpful staff who organized transportation and activities. Comfortable accommodation with stunning sea views. Excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere. a great place to relax and experience authentic Cambodia.

This place was mind-blowingly amazing! From the super friendly and chatty staff, to the beautiful location overlooking the beach, everything was jaw-droppingly perfect. The Cambodian family running the place made it feel so authentic and the food in the restaurant was delicious with reasonable prices. They even upgraded our bungalow when we arrived - how cool is that? The common area had snorkel sets, books, and board games, and it was such a chilled out place away from the noise. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!

The location of the hotel is great, close to the pier and a short walk to Saracen Bay. There are sun loungers and hammocks outside the bungalows, perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly, providing good communication and attentive service.

The WiFi is only available in the restaurant and not in the bungalows.

We had a fantastic stay at a cozy beach bungalow. the local family running the place made it feel like a truly authentic Cambodian experience. the staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to help us. They organized an amazing snorkeling trip and made transportation easy for us. the location was perfect, allowing us to explore nearby areas while still offering a peaceful retreat. With comfortable accommodation and delicious food, we couldn't have asked for more. Cons: Nothing to complain about here! 🙌.

Poor maintenance.

I had the most amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront hotel. The view of the bay and the romantic sunsets were unforgettable. The garden with its vibrant flowers added to the charm. The staff, Gabriel and the Khmer owner, were incredibly hospitable and kind. The meals prepared by the chef were simply delicious. This family-run hotel provided a lovely and memorable experience. I especially appreciated the attentive and thoughtful staff. Despite a few unrelated problems, they ensured I had a quiet and enjoyable stay. The value for money and the genuine Cambodian experience made it all the more special. The location was perfect, and there were plenty of vegetarian options available.

During my stay at Mangrove Beach Bungalows in Koh Rong Sanloem, I found two notable advantages. the location of the bungalows is perfect if you want to stay at Saracen Bay on the eastern side of the island. It is situated at one end of the bay, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. as a frequent traveler, I appreciated the convenience of Sihanoukville International Airport being just 25 km away. It made my transit easy and hassle-free.

While my overall experience at Mangrove Beach Bungalows was fantastic, there was one minor drawback. The position of the bungalows at the south end of Saracen Bay means that it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the other side of the bay and an additional 35 minutes to cross the island and reach the western beaches.
